About Athens
Athens is in the eastern time zone and thus enjoys longer light evenings than Northern Europe. Greek culture values a slow start to the day, and dinner times are often late. When visiting, be prepared for many smaller shops to be closed during the afternoon hours.
Clocks in Athens change between standard and summer time, so the gap to Sweden may shift for a few weeks when the dates differ.
