About Falun
Falun is the county seat of Dalarna and grew up around the Falun copper mine, which together with the town's old mining districts is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The ski jumps at Lugnet can be seen from much of town, and the ski tracks and sledging slopes there get a lot of use over the winter sports break. The municipality lists breaks and days off for its schools on one shared page.
