About the school breaks in Jokkmokk 2027
The sportlov, which is the winter sports break, takes place during week 10 in 2027. Students are off from Monday March 8 through Friday March 12, creating a consecutive period of five days. This break provides a pause in the middle of the spring term as the days begin to grow longer in the north.
The påsklov, or Easter break, occurs during week 13, beginning on Monday March 29 and ending on Friday April 2. Just like the winter break, this time off spans five calendar days. Since both breaks fall across these specific weekdays, students receive a clear distinction between their school responsibilities and their time off during the final stretch of the academic year.
