Common questions about the clock widget

How do I add a clock to my website?

Set up the clock above, press Copy code and paste the code into your page. That is all. The clock starts running as soon as the page loads.

Is the widget really free?

Yes. It is free to use, including on business websites. All we ask is that the link in the code stays in place.

Can I show the time in a city other than Stockholm?

Yes. Search for any city or time zone in step 1. With Several cities you can show up to five cities at once.

Does it adjust for daylight saving time?

Yes. The widget follows the official rules for each time zone, so the change happens automatically in the right country on the right day.

Can I make a countdown to a date?

Yes. Choose Countdown, pick a date and add a short label such as "until Christmas Eve". The widget shows the days, hours, minutes and seconds left.

Does the clock work on phones?

Yes. It adapts to the screen and works in all modern browsers on phones, tablets and computers.

Where does the weather come from?

Weather data comes from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway), the same source used by yr.no.

Does the widget collect data about my visitors?

No. The widget sets no cookies and stores nothing about your visitors. So we know how many sites use the clock, it only sends your site's address and the page the clock appears on. That means the widget does not need to be listed in a cookie banner.
