About the school breaks in Härryda 2026
The autumn term of 2026 begins on Wednesday August 19. Before the students start, there are staff development days on August 17 and 18. During the autumn term, there is a study day on September 22 and a staff closing day on October 26. The autumn break, known as höstlov, takes place in week 44, running from Tuesday October 27 to Friday October 30.
The Christmas break, or jullov, starts on Saturday December 19, 2026, and lasts until Thursday January 7, 2027. This 20 day period covers both Christmas and the New Year. The spring term starts on Friday January 8, 2027. Please observe that Thursday January 7, 2027, is a scheduled closing day for staff planning.
